The Australian lotto authorities being the Western Australian Government (Lotterywest) and Tatts Group Limited (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatts_Group) who administers Australian Lotto for the other states and territories pay approximately 9.3% commission to retail outlets for selling lotto games. Tatts Group Limited does not offer or guarantee wins through syndicates and they only provide single games, so when you purchase a share in a syndicate through a retail outlet, you are relying on the outlet's proprieter, who has purchased the games from the authority, to notify you and honour any wins. A Lotto rule states that only an individual can purchase a lotto entry. Those that offer syndicates through a business entity can be said to fall short of this rule. There is no control what types or numbers of games are included in a syndicate.
The explanation of the previous two paragraphs is that retail outlets only offer syndicates for a specific draw by way of informal shares. Retail outlets for the Tatts Group are required to purchase games themselves prior to offering them in syndicates of their choosing. Retail outlets earn varying amount of commission from different syndicates which have a different number of games. Syndicates available through all Australian lotto retail outlets are usually made up of multiple games, through multiple standard system entries, without greatly improving the chance for a win or bigger payouts. Retail outlets do not have time to educate customers on odds and value for money entries based on mathematical probability. Retail outlets therefore promote a purely emotional purchase based on the maximum number of games that a customer feels they can afford. Lotto authorities usually require their outlets to grow their lotto business otherwise their licence may be offered to someone else at the end of the licence period, therefore emotional purchase is also promoted by the authorities. There is little control on what a customer pays for a given draw of lotto! There is no requirement for a customer to register individual games purchased through a retail outlet so there is little monitoring of problem ‘gambling’ and not all customers can be notified if they win!
In comparison, you as an ALGMO member are given the best odds through specific lotto games in multiple draws that provide a proven mathematical probability; given a better payout for a given result in a secure membership that fully complies with all the rules; has a possible tax deductable advertising component, and guarantees all wins personally through a written contract and not through a limited liability or other entity structure.
To provide you these benefits, the ALGMO structure and administrative system was created to satisfy all known rules and requirements so that members can enjoy the most secure, cost effective and highest paying lotto participation.
The ALGMO membership experiences an average 30% return on cost, compared with a 5% return on cost experienced by customers purchasing their own games. An average of 1:3 ALGMO members win something every week compared with 1:56 winning something across all entries sold by retail outlets. ALGMO is called a Membership
The administration of the membership is by a purposely built software program.
We all know how difficult it is to raise funds. This membership has been created to assist worthwhile community projects through donations.
The people who donate are usually intimately involved with the project, so the amount able to be raised is limited.
Getting others to donate who are not involved with a project can be hard. People who donate want to have something tangible in return for their donation rather than just the "feel good" factor.
ALGMO was created in 2011 by a 25 year National medal holder for services to the community, Grenville Silvester. Grenville is the current Member's Advocate. Being quite a unique name, Grenville Silvester can be googled and his bona fides can be checked by anyone interested in joining this membership.
The membership is designed to widen the donation pool for a local project, as well as offering those donating tangible products that 80% of the population want.
The products that ALGMO members receive are: to benefit from member only specials; to be a member with others that benefit; to receive winnings; to receive, regular, unique membership reports; have the ability to reduce their membership cost through a Referral Program and are able to communicate to a friendly and helpful central administration.
Members see good value at being a member of ALGMO! That is why they join!
The membership uses the members area of http://algmo.biz to communicate. This site provides news and super special panels, member only specials directory that can be searched by Country, State and Category and a suite of Tabs to receive personal messages and specific details of their membership and a link to contact the support desk.
Application for membership is made through the various points on the ALGMO web site. Membership can only be approved after speaking with a certified ALGMO Manager.
All Applicants are provided the necessary information on the ALGMO web site, as well as other information relayed to them by the contacting ALGMO manager.
The Membership is managed by a Member’s Advocate.
All members have access to the Member's Advocate by way of phone, email, skype, and office address. A mobile phone is used to ensure the Members Advocate is available to members 24/7. A 1300 number (or equivalent) is not used because those numbers hide the true identity of the phone. (A 1300 number is just diverted to a secret number). ALGMO uses a number that is traceable and easily accessible by the members.
Membership Levels
There are three levels of membership
Bronze
Silver
Gold
There is no contract for ongoing membership. You can cancel your Bronze, Sliver or Gold membership simply by email, SMS or phone call.
Bronze
1 month for $30; 6 months for $144; yearly membership for $260 (for 2086 games). Minor wins go to reducing ongoing payments while major wins are paid out to you directly.
As a Bronze member you are allocated a syndicate which plays 40 games in a Pick 5 entry every Saturday night. You have access to the ALGMO advertising site by way of a User Name and Password. You can view and take advantage of member specials, but cannot place ads. You are provided a Saturday draw report by email after the draw and weekly reporting for the whole of the ALGMO membership for your information.
Bronze membership is automatically renewed unless you cancel prior to the expiry date. This is a result of members wanting an assurance that they are included in every Saturday draw until they wish to cancel their membership
Silver
4 monthly membership for $144
Silver members have full access to the ALGMO advertising site, have 15 ad spots and have priority over the premium advertising positions on the site. You do not participate in lotto and you are not provided any lotto wins. You receive reporting as required or requested.
Silver membership is renewed every four months unless you cancel your membership.
Silver membership is for you if you see the value in paying $0.55 per week for a tax deductable advertising spot without needing the chance of a big win at lotto and receiving regular reports. This feature of membership is also relevant to Bronze and Gold membership since they also have an advertising component.
Gold
Initial payment of $78 then $66 less wins for each month paid in arrears. Yearly membership is $782 less wins from 5162 games. These rates are as of August 2013.
You are allocated 15 ad spots, have full access to the ALGMO advertising site and are allocated a syndicate which has three chances to win per week.
The games that are played are:
- Pick 6 every Tuesday - 39 games - every number is covered so 1st number drawn is guaranteed.
- PowerHit20 every Thursday - 20 games - every power ball is covered.
- Pick 5 every Saturday - 40 games - every number is covered so 1st number drawn is guaranteed.
Please note that the Tatts Group made changes to Powerball on Thursday 7th March 2013. The ALGMO Video does not reflect these changes. The changes are explained by the members advocate once contact is made.
You receive a report on each night’s draw as well as a set of summary reports at the end of each week.
You receive a statement with the the last report before or on the 28th of each month.
Payment for Gold membership is monthly in arrears and is secured the first business day of the following month. You should however allow for funds to be secured sometime during the last and first business days of two consecutive months, allowing for bank holidays or any unforeseen issues with your account.
Lotto wins are credited to your membership and hence go to reducing the monthly payment owing to maintain your membership.
The maximum monthly amount for Gold membership, as of the 1st May 2011 is $66.
Hence $XX.xx = $66 minus lotto wins for the past month. If $XX.xx = 0 then the member has won more than $66 during the past month and nothing is withdrawn from their account.
If payment is not successful during the first three business days of the month you are contacted by phone, text and or email. If payment is not made by the 5th business day of the month then your membership is not credited any wins from your allocated syndicate and associated ads are withdrawn. It is so important to contact support (support desk) before the first week of the month if something effects payment. Remember to update your Card expiry dates and notify support if there are any changes to the nominated account. We can usually come to some arrangement to maintain your ads and lotto win credits.
You can access the official www.tattersalls.com.au site through the Link on your personal page on the ALGMO web site. Under the ALG Member’s Only heading click on Check Numbers and Dividends. You can view past draws, attain results and dividends and access all official lotto information.
Further Membership Information
There are only 15 members per syndicate group for both Bronze and Gold members.
Each Bronze and Gold member fully understands that he/she is paying post tax monies amounting to 1/15 of the net cost of the customer fee for the lotto games that are purchased. The cost of membership is offset by 1/15 of any wins from the syndicate that the member is allocated to.
There is no profit made by the syndicator and therefore no tax payable by the syndicator in relation to the 1/15 share of games which is a direct post tax payment from the member to the syndicator.
All membership payments are made in arrears or payment for service for goods supplied. There are no advance payments.
Emphasis is on closed membership advertising and donation. All gross profit is from advertising, NOT Lotto. Therefore it cannot be argued the membership is running a lotto business. The Lotto component is just one of the features to provide member benefits.
It is important for members and authorities to understand that ALGMO membership offers advertising; fundraising strategy, documentation and administration; donation structure and procedure; weekly reporting and 24/7 helpdesk – as well as payment of lotto wins to its members based on syndication practices.
Lotto Tickets
All registered lotto tickets are purchased from Tatts registered outlet 0100556, Ivanhoe Plaza Jackpot Lotto. The Syndicator Arrangement as described on each members personal site describes how ALGMO guarantees to provide members winnings from lotto. It describes the structure and process to ensure legality and surety to members.
The member understands that games are not been on-sold, but are held in the name of the syndicator. The syndicator provides an undertaking, through the Syndicator Arrangement, that all wins are paid to members of the syndicate.
Winning Payouts
Division 1 or 2 wins will be notified and paid directly to Bronze or Gold members. Minor division wins will go toward reducing the next membership payment. All members can familiarise themselves with the ‘Syndicator arrangement’ in the news items on the web site.
Weekly Reports
Weekly reports sent to all members contain all required information to ensure that the membership is managed in a proper and responsible manner. All members are encouraged to ask questions of the member’s advocate who is contactable by phone and email. Members are free to cancel their membership if they are not provided full and honest answers to their questions.
All members can download a Dividend Chart report on the ALGMO site. This report goes a long way in explaining the benefits of the games we play to provide winnings to Bronze and Gold members.
An updated Dividend Chart Report is provided to Gold members on Sundays and Bronze members receive the Saturday night component with their report.
Affiliates
An Affiliate Donation Program (ADP) is available for Clubs, Charities, or Groups, as well as other bodies accepted by the Member’s Advocate.
Individuals are also able to become affiliates if accepted by the Member’s Advocate.
Nominations of Affiliates are by visitors, existing members and applicants, through the Fundraising page
The nominated affiliate is contacted by an ALGMO manager who describes what the membership offers with the aid of official ALGMO resources.
The nominated affiliate identifies a project and how the donated funds will be utilised.
ALGMO management approves the project and the Individual, Club, Charity or Group becomes registered under the ADP and is referred to as an Affiliate.
The Affiliate is provided with both:

- Each affiliate has their own account page which can be accessed by logging in
- Each affiliate is given access to their individual affiliates site via the Affiliates login on the Affiliates page. where they have access to their personalised banner.
- An affiliate can request its stakeholders to attach this simple yet attractive and effective banner system to any web pages that they may have access to. This will greatly increase donation potential for the affiliate.
- The banner, upon been clicked on directs a person to the ALGMO web site with their affiliate name already selected. The ALGMO computer server identifies the user’s computer and stores its ID for 13 weeks. If a person using that computer joins up within 13 weeks, then the affiliate whose banner it was when first clicked, is accredited to that membership and receives the donation even if the application is made through another banner.
- Masters of a circular and a pamphlet are supplied to the Affiliate.
The direct link (URL) to the ADP web page is included in both.
The Affiliate can hand them out during fundraising or promotional events, provide them to customers or people just making an enquiry, or, include them in their own documentation.
The more people who see the circular of pamphlet, the more who will ring ALGMO. The more members, the bigger the donations.
The direct link to the Fundraising web page can be supplied with any documentation!
With either of these two ways, an individual entering the ADP page selects the affiliate they wish donations to be made. They receive an overview of the ALGMO membership and the benefit to the chosen affiliate. They leave their contact details so an ALGMO Manager can contact them.
An ALGMO manager replies to the lodgement of interest, describes the membership in more detail with the aid of ALGMO official resources and completes the necessary documentation for membership.
An Affiliate is able to monitor the number of members donating to them from their Affiliate site and is therefore able to reconcile donations made from ALGMO.
The affiliate is paid a $30 donation per new membership, Bronze membership renewal or an upgrade to Silver or Gold . A further $50 annual donation per financial membership is made for Silver and Gold membership upgrades.
This means that a sporting club that becomes an affiliate and 30 of its stakeholders become bronze members; the club would receive an immediate donation of $900, with further donations as members renew or upgrade their membership.
A social club of an organisation could get 50 people to join as Bronze members and receive $1500 immediately. If 60% of those renewed their membership twice, they would receive a further $1800 in the first year. If 30% upgraded to Silver or Gold membership, a further $450 donation would be realised in that first year with a $750 yearly ongoing donation. That equals $3750 in the first year with the potential of $2550 ongoing annual donation. All that for just 50 people joining the ALGMO membership! That would go a long way toward the end of year Christmas party, trip or hampers.
A Group whose stakeholders placed their affiliate banner on 1000 web pages would attract 20 members per week. The Group would initially receive a weekly donation base of $600 PLUS renewals !! With 80% renewals or upgrades, that would mean after 6 months they would be receiving a further $480 = $1080 per week. Wow!!!! That is an easy way to finance a worthwhile community or social project!
Referrals
An awesome referral system for members was created on the third anniversary of the membership
Early 2014, members requested that their cost of membership was reduced for every person they referred and became active members as either Bronze, Silver or Gold.
An administrative system was created to apply a $5 per month reduction of membership for each active referral as of the 28th of each month.
When lotto wins and the number of active referrals exceed the membership due for any given month, the amount in excess is credited to the members account.
The member can request payment of any positive balance.
This means that if a member has 13 active referrals then the $66 monthly Gold membership is paid by the referral program and the member receives all wins as a positive balance for that given month.
As an example, this means that when a Gold member has 100 active referrals for a given month they receive (100 - 13) X 5 = $435 for that month PLUS wins from their allocated syndicate playing 430 games of lotto.
It is important to note that active referrals relate to anyone that the member has referred to the membership and they have become members in any previous month or current month and they are still members for the current month. Members do not need to refer members in the current month to receive the monthly $5 reduction.
Where members have a membership which is paid by the referral program, they can change the ownership of that membership through notification to the Member's Advocate.
Each member is provided with a 'Referral Generator' when they join the membership. The generator allows members to distribute ALGMO information with a personal link to the ALGMO site. When a person activates the link the Members Advocate is notified and contacts the person who activated the link to answer any question they may have regarding the membership. When they join they are credited to the member whos link they activated.
This provides members a wonderful opportunity to participate in Lotto in the most cost effective way!
ALGMO Sales Management Program
There is a properly structured ALGMO Sales Management Program.
An ALGMO sales manager receives qualified leads through the Fundraising page and is renumerated for service based on performance.
The manager is supplied with all material and training required to properly inform membership applicants and affiliates.
We have a strict code of conduct for our sales managers to ensure the integrity of ALGMO's purpose.
Any members wishing to apply for a management position should do so by contacting the Member’s Advocate.
